Look beyond a polished starter screen. Review application foundations, maintainable interfaces, data boundaries, ownership, and the cost of adapting a template to your product.

Inspect what the starting point commits you to

A starter template supplies decisions as well as code. Examine how its interface, permissions, tenant records, subscriptions, and background tasks fit together. Identify the parts you can adapt cleanly and the parts whose assumptions would need a deeper change.

Review a template with one realistic user journey. Move from a new account through an ordinary action and a permission failure, then follow the corresponding records and events. Keep an explicit list of missing ownership information, unclear upgrade paths, and work that remains before a product can be operated responsibly.
